On May 10, 2017 an article by Thomas L. Friedman appeared in print on page A27 of the New York edition of the New York Times with the headline: Owning Your Own Future. The same day, a version of the article appeared online at https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/10/opinion/owning-your-own-future.html. Fortunately, I haven't read very many New York Times articles online, so I was able to read this one. I currently have “9 ARTICLES REMAINING” before I've presumably exhausted my quota of freebies, according to an obnoxious ribbon window that floated above the the article, pestering me to either “SAVE NOW” or “Login” as I read the piece.
